Our mission is to advance the education, health and well-being of pupils, teachers and communities associated with our three Ugandan schools.

We do this through providing teachers, clean water, brick buildings for classrooms, school meals, a boarding house, and large farming projects to enable self sufficiency.

400,000 people die / yr of respiratory disease related to cooking smoke. Please help us to replace this school kitchen in the slums of Kampala so that we can stop deforestation, cut CO2 emissions and improve health.

The new school kitchen will be brick built with charcoal briquette ovens using waste charcoal dust. The cost of the kitchen is £13,500

We want to educate our children so that they take the technology home and have an even better effect on the environment.

New Coffee Plantation

We currently raise 60% of funds in Uganda but we want them to be self sufficient. We have therefore bought 53 acres using a loan and this is being cleared and planted with 20,000 seedlings which Fred has grown. In 3 years this should enable repayment of the loan and cover most of running costs in Uganda

Coffee

Coffee consumption is increasing worldwide and is a good cash crop. One plant can produce 5kg per year and you get two crops per year. We have bought scrub land which has previously used for grazing cattle. The coffee palnts will improive the envioronment for wild life, captures CO2 and produce a valuable income source for the long term.
