Boys kindly offered us fresh live flying ants to eat. Actually had an acceptable taste!!
No wifi in Masaka, but the team have had a great start to vocational education.
Stephen now knows how to put a treddle sowing machine together.
The carpenrty is also going well.
A lovely hot African day.
Very productive painting, carpentry, teaching & sewing.
The team have arrived safely in Uganda & have set off for Masaka, with a stop off at the equator.
We will be spending two weeks training teenagers basic carpentry. These will typically be boys who have failed to progress at Secondary School either due to not being able to pay the school fees or because they have failed an end of year exam. This can be due to poor teaching as much as due to lack of application.
